“Chloe was a transfer in this season from up North and has truly stepped up and shown us she is a force to reckon with. Her specialty events are the 50 and 100 free but she also excels at the 100 back. Chloe has brought such energy to the team in the best way! We are so excited to see how she performs and are excited to watch her grow this season and years to come as she is only a sophomore,” said coach Jenn Rudeen.
VYPE Magazine caught up with Chloe Taylor to learn more about this underclassman to watch.
VYPE: What do you love most about your team and teammates?
Taylor: What I love most about my teammates is that they made me feel truly welcome. I just moved here over the summer and so going into a brand-new school was very scary but, as soon as swimming started, I knew that I had found my people.
VYPE: What is your favorite subject in school and who is your favorite teacher?
Taylor: My favorite subject in school is math but only because I’m good at it. My teacher is Mrs. Clark, and she is also my coach.
VYPE: Who has been a big influence in your life? Explain
Taylor: Someone who has been a big influence in my life is my dad. He used to be a swimmer as well, so he always is asking me questions about my times and pushing me to do better.
