Owasso freshman Benjamin Hopper caught the swim community by surprise when he jumped into the pool for the first time and immediately began training and developing into a competitive swimmer.
Owasso head coach Jenn Rudeen said of Hopper, “Ben started swimming over the summer and not only surprised us with how quickly he picked up the sport, but he also caught onto butterfly with ease, and it is one of the hardest strokes to learn. Ben is going to do big things.”
We caught up with the underclassman to learn more about him and what the future looks like for this Ram swimmer.
