GIRLS
Coach: Tobey Nightingale
2019-20 Record: 6-18
The Lady Rams will field a younger team than what they are used to, but first year head coach Tobey Nightingale is excited to see what they can accomplish. “We are a young team that has worked really hard this offseason. This team is a group of girls that is going to give everything they have every night,” said Nightingale. Taylor Rose (Jr.) and Chloe Stocksen (Jr.) will start at guard while Ellie Morill (Jr.) will play the post. Rose will do whatever it takes to make the team and herself better. Stocksen is a leader on the floor, in the gym and the weight room. Seldon Stover (Fr.) is an exciting young player expected to make an impact at the guard spot. Stover pushes the upperclassman and together they all work to develop team chemistry. The future for the Lady Rams basketball program is a bright one as this team lays the foundation for future teams under coach Nightingale. SOMETHING TO WATCH – The Lady Rams of Owasso should not feel any pressure coming into the 2020 season. A new head coach will inject some energy into the game and give players an opportunity to get quality minutes on the court as they grow together, working to get the program back to where it should be, near the top of Class 6A.
