VYPE: What grade are you in and what position do you play?
Terrin White: I am a senior and I play forward/ winger.
VYPE: What do you love most about being a student-athlete at Owasso HS?
TW: I love the community it has given me! Being a student athlete can be challenging sometimes, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’ve met some of my best friends through this sport!
VYPE: How long have you played soccer and who is your favorite player?
TW: I have played soccer for almost 13 years, and I’d have to say my favorite player is Alex Morgan. She just recently retired, but I always looked up to her growing up.
VYPE: What part of your game is most improved coming into this season?
TW: I just recently came back from a full ACL tear this past summer, so I’d have to say my most improved part of my game is my mental toughness. Since coming back to play, I feel like my mentality and work ethic has changed in a way because I know how fast it can be taken from me.
VYPE: Which teammates have impressed you this season?
TW: I’d have to say I’m most impressed by freshman Anderson Rogers. The confidence she has while playing at such a young age amazes me and she’s always composed on and off the ball.
VYPE: What do you love most about your teammates?
TW: Honestly, my teammates bring a joy into my life. Being surrounded by all these girls is the definition of family. We’re like sisters, we win together and lose together.
VYPE: What’s your favorite subject in school and do you have a favorite teacher?
TW: My favorite subject has always been English, however my favorite teacher was my Algebra II teacher, Mrs. James.
VYPE: What would you like to do after you graduate?
TW: I am attending NSU to play college soccer where I will major in Health and Human Performance. After college I plan on attending PT school for the next three years to get my doctoral in physical therapy.
VYPE: What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
TW: I love going to Church, God is my first priority in my life! I also enjoy spending time with my best friends, reading, swimming if it’s summer, and just anything outside when the weathers nice.
VYPE: If you could watch a match anywhere in the world, where would you go?
TW: I would want to watch a match off a beach in Hawaii.
