VYPE: What are your personal goals for the year and how is the season going?
Sarah: My personal goal is to break 20 in the 5k. I got pretty close last year so hopefully I can do it this year. And this season is going pretty well so far. I think we are going to have a really good season this year.
VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?
Sarah: The most fun I’ve had in the last year would probably have to be going to Nike Cross Regionals. I had a lot of fun and it was cool to be the first person to go in the program.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?
Sarah: Mrs Woodall. She is one of the greatest teachers I have ever had. She genuinely wants to help you and she made class fun.
VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?
Sarah: My favorite memory would probably be running at State. The team culture was amazing and the crowd was energetic. There was not a moment in the race where someone was not cheering.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
Sarah: Sydney Vahn. She was super encouraging and always made me feel loved. She was always positive and always had a smile on her face.
VYPE: What is your favorite part of being part of a team?
Sarah: The people. I love running with my teammates. I also love the culture.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?
Sarah: I would probably go to Brazil and I would bring my family
VYPE: If we have you $500 and you had to spend it in the next 24 hours, what would you spend it on?
Sarah: Clothes or food. Maybe even both.
